What is a free market?

I have this weird thing with silver, I keep losing some of it repatedly... I remember doing a "job" vacuuming for a relative, getting paid with a coin that had some silver in it, the same that I kept when I was even 3 years old, somehow apprechiating it even then...

Was those times among the few events where I experienced real, free markets? Or were things captured even in the eighties, with most believing in the whole scam of a technocratic, prosperous future?

I did this one in Greece, I remember a time when small fishing boats were the backbone of the industry, literally putting our food on the table, locally and also through national production chains. Maybe Greece still has some of that, but here almost all of it is gone...

Greece was such a horrible, visible and totally transparent case, the way the financical forces took over the whole thing, using the EU as cover, was despicable and a watershed moment for anyone following these types of events.

I never got to see it before that, but I do have an old friend who started roaming around the islands in the mid to late sixties. Maybe they had something close to free markets then?

As it is now I had to use the manual button on the aircon to avoid paying a 2 euro climate scam "tax..."

Of course there is lots of life, like on this island, spending 25 hours on that ferry felt great for someone raised at sea like me!

But the price levels now are such that its hard do roam around as a free spirit... I might get one of those old, wooden boats though, I actually did some asking around that might lead to that :-)

Where can we find truly free markets where local businesses are owned by families, where everything is not gobbled up by globalism?

This last image is from Kathmandu, at least in some areas there it definitely feels quite close .-) Everything is cash, there are lots of tiny restaurants and gueshouses all over the place, and even with a lot of attention from tourists there are no chains and globalist brand stores...

How long before that changes? I do hope we have a few years left, but its not my country so I won't be interfering other than of course using cash all the time.

What about the online world?

Playing around with the globe in Kathmandu

So this is where it gets interesting! For quite some time I've wanted to visit Serbia, they look like unruly, strong people with a need for freedom, to put it mildly :-)

What can I do before getting there? Well, investing in free range chickens using Monero of course!

I do think this is where we'll find the only free, sane markets, online using Monero and all the freedom and anti-censorship tools possible, to then take part in real, free markets offline.

This is basically what I want to take part in, support and work within for the rest of this lifetime. There is simply no other ways to preserve human civilization...

I'll do more on this later, but here is the link at least: https://nitroeggs.com
