What's an old photographer to do now? :-)

So war & mayhem is on the horizon, as always the past few years... Staying mobile & flexible is my choice at least, the only obvious, long term strategy that gives me options down the line!
Like buying this old boat, which got me this ominous picture... Maybe sailors do think a bit about what might come next, compared to landlubbers?

I did hit the road for real back in 94/95 which is when I got this picture in Kathmandu, leaving while I knew I was spiraling downwards, then ending up in hospital when I returned sure was what one could call a formative experience haha!
Its a decade ago now, when I realized that I'd have to get out of Europe, yet I've now been back for longer than I imagined, and in a very different way. Getting this old boat was a gamble, but it payed off!

This image is from the pouring of a Buddha statued in the North of Thailand, a very memorable event for sure. I do enjoy living in nature where I'm born, the way I always enjoyed, but still I need to make it back.
Is there something to be said about feeling like a piece of forged, hammered piece of metal, compared to who I might have been if things were easy through this time?
I sure do hope so...

This image is from Clamosa in Aragon, Northern Spain. There are so many of these remote, abandoned villages...
I've been there 3 times, the first right before the GFC, when it was obvious that something was incoming, the seond when it was at its peak, and then driving there a couple of years later.
I remember wondering a bit about why all of this happened, and now I feel that I know far too much about that...
Oh well, gotta move on! Can't hit the road in a boat, so gotta fix that first, but then getting back to Asia is probably the best bet for me at least.
More to come! :-)
